The Opportunity:
We are currently seeking an experienced ‘Operations/ Business Development Manager’ to add value to our new Waste Management Site in Tanzania.
Based Location: Dar E Salaam, Tanzania
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure activities and operation standards of site are in line with Tanzania rules & regulations.
- Communicate with the customer, client, head office, regulatory authority and fulfil their requirements related to waste receipt, reports etc.
- Preparation of the monthly budget for site and ensure availability of funds for site activities.
- Ensure all activities carried out at site are safe and accident-free.
- Ensure availability of required resources and materials for a smooth operation.
- Identifying prospective clients across diverse industry verticals and building a strong network.
- Overseeing sales operations for achieving increased growth and initiating market development efforts.
- Conceptualizing & implementing sales activities as part of market development and brand building effort.
- Mapping client’s requirements and providing industrial solutions comprising evaluation, definition, and scope of project and finalization of project requirements.
- Building and maintaining healthy business relations and ensure maximum customer satisfaction.
- Setting up sales objectives and designing/ streamlining processes to ensure smooth functioning of sales and operations.
- Creating and sustaining an environment that fosters development opportunities and motivates high performance.
- Degree in Medical, Chemical Engineering/Mechanical Engineering or
- Master’s in Science/Environmental or Hospital Administration.
- 10+ years of experience.
- Strong negotiation, influencing and customer service skills.
- Experience of working in medical sector or environment sector will be an added advantage.
