JOB DETAILS:
Job Description:
• Organize and keep store inventory.
• Call and text the Kilimanjaro crew regarding information like climb date, meeting etc.
• Do Shopping for expeditions.
• Properly label all food supply that goes inside the freezer.
• Issue equipment in and out of store for expeditions.
• Organize, collect and pack resupply for expedition.
• Drive to deliver the resupply to the Mweka.
• Drive errands in town, airport, ect
• Supervise crew departure at the Kilimanjaro Gates.
• Register clients’ names at Kilimanjaro gates.
• Submit and process all documents needed at Kilimanjaro gate for clients and crew departure.
• Collect national park booking vouchers, payment proof, and other Kilimanjaro documents needed on departure date.
• Supervise the crew when returning from the trek and bring gear back to the office.
• Collect the crew survey at the gate after climbing.
• Set up the client’s lunch at the Gate when returning from the trek.
• Supervise crew during washing day.
• Ensure the office compound is arranged and organized after the washing day.
• Responsible for all washed uniforms and equipment left outside to dry.
• Use the washing machine to wash crew uniforms (See procedure).
• Clean the refrigerator and deep freezer when not in use (See procedure)
• Organize and label all clients kit bags with client names, tents numbers and all other equipment needed to be labeled for the expedition.
• Put together and Deliver Kilimanjaro hamper to the supplier.
• Help out with office chores if required.
• Keep the car clean and tidy.
• Prepare Kilimanjaro’s’ crew chat
Who are We looking for:
• Ability to work in different situation
• A creative person with focusing mindset
• Ability to work under minimum supervision
• With high level and proven integrity and professionalism
• High good communication with both written and spoken English
• Able to handle new and multiple task with attention to details
• With a class “C” driving license and good driving skills
• Able to diligently manage the store and taking inventory
• Experience of 1-2 years in tourism related field. A FRESH candidate who is highly skilled and motivated will be considered as well.
