Overview
We are looking for a computer sales officer responsible for sales of computers, software, and accessories to potential corporate clients. The sales officer has to possess extensive knowledge of IT products, target corporate clients, listen to their concerns, sell persuasively, and close deals.

Job Responsibilities.
• Recognize the needs of the corporate customers and provide detailed information about the technical specifications of the computer hardware/software offered by the company.
• Investigates new items and makes recommendations for purchasing products.
• Check with in-house inventory to ensure corporate orders are in stock.
• Takes orders over the phone and in-person by visiting different companies.
• Advises corporate customers on technical matters and recommends appropriate computer configurations.
• Negotiate price for the sale as per the company rates.
• Provide technical support after merchandise is purchased.
• Construct sales pitches, and presentations.
• Travel to areas where needs are projected.
• Assist with the company helpline.
• Serve as a customer service representative for customers who have questions or difficulties.
• Organizing physical demonstration of the computer product features before a sale, and providing after-sales visits.
• Advise on appropriate user training to corporate customers.
• Ensure quality of service by developing a thorough and detailed knowledge of technical specifications and other features of employers' systems and processes.
• Attracting new business through activities such as cold-calling, networking, and meeting with potential clients
• Clarifying customers’ and clients’ requirements and recommending the appropriate products
• Preparing tenders, proposals, and maintaining sales records

Skills and Qualifications.
• Bachelor/Diploma in Information Technology, or any other related field

  • Business Administration, Sales and Marketing knowledge is an added advantage
    • At least 2 years of experience in sales of IT and office appliances
    • Strong technical sales and marketing skills
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
    • Target market awareness
    • A thorough and logical approach to corporate work
    • The ability to meet high sales standards
    • The ability to work under pressure and meet sales targets and quotas
