The position of Clinical Officer is a full time position working closely with the Program Team
to create and manage Funds for Africa KIZAZI BORA programs. The Senior Clinical
Officer is expected to participate in the management of all aspects of our current program, with a
focus on ensuring clinical excellence and must be able to do so with enthusiastic commitment, and as
part of a dynamic team. The Clinical Officer reports to the Executive Director

Duties and Responsibilities
Work with Executive Director and Program Team to:
Develop curriculum and program materials as needed
Manage program activities
Support the organization’s strategic global health alliances and partnerships
Contribute to strategic visioning and implementation for sustainability and growth of programs and services
Engage in media outreach to tell Funds for Africa’s story in materials, video and other media
Support Funds for Africa’s communications and development staff in executing their responsibilities
Develop and execute an Annual Program Strategic Plan

Be responsible for the overall management of one or more of Funds for Africa’s field programs including:
Providing leadership and oversight to assigned programs
Supervising in-country staff and interns
Remaining current in all clinical matters relating to Funds for Africa’s mission and, adapt and apply new information as needed
Providing leadership and oversight in all aspects of training, including curriculum development, training execution and development of field-based trainers
Maintaining quality and security in all aspects of our program.
Assuring highest quality in volunteer recruitment and selection
Assisting with design and implementation of program monitoring and evaluation
strategies
With Program Team, developing and managing budget for all program expenses

Qualification and Experience
Holder of Diploma/Bachelor degree in Clinical Medicine from a recognized institution; and should have an experience of at least 1 years in the field of expertise.

Remuneration will be in line with the set procedures of the organizations which consider the experience and qualifications of the candidate (USD 2500-3500)
