As part of the implementation of the new operating model, we have an exciting opportunity for an HSE Excellence Manager within OF EXE. You will be working as an integral part of the HSE Excellence Team and to support management in ensuring effective integration of HSE in the business. Within this role you will work in a global capacity and have a significant impact on how we as an organization drive Health & Safety to the next level.
You will be supporting the shaping of a newly formed team, defining, and continually improving HSE standards within the HSE Advisors team to ensure effective, but efficient performance and support for OF EXE sites globally. Your team will be providing support to project execution, and coordinating improvements with various internal stakeholders such as project management, construction management and others.

Passion for renewable energy and a sense for the importance to lead the change. As an HSE Excellence Manager you will lead HSE improvement projects to deliver sustainable HSE performance improvements across OF EXE.
Your Main Responsibilities Would Include
- Developing, proposing, and implementing HSE processes and/or methods.
- Planning and accomplishing roll out of HSE programs or projects and monitors respective milestone in related organization.
- Analyzing and monitoring adherence to HSE standards in assigned organizations and prepares regular HSE reporting.
- Analyzing and reporting on changes in relevant HSE laws and regulations and recommend changes for internal standards.
- Contributing to internal and external HSE audits
- Preparing regular external HSE reporting for official authorities, or for internal stakeholder.
- Training employees and management.
- Keeping abreast with all respective regulations and standards in regional or local law.
- Supporting the management in ensuring effective integration of HSE in the business, including the cascade of new HSE policies and procedures.
- Driving the implementation of new HSE procedures and requirements and enrolling of new systems and IT applications. Collaborate closely with Global HSE Governance department for support/improvements/campaigns.
- Facilitating and assisting in connection with internal assessments/inspections of the projects with special attention on process auditing (e.g. HSE Plan compliance).
- Acting across OF EXE to support and assist in all HSE processes, which require additional resources and/or HSE knowledge due to their complexity and continuous demand for follow-up and performance verification.
- Supporting OF EXE to ensure that the overall HSE performance meets goals and objectives as set out via the strategy and corresponding KPIs. This is, among others, done by continuous monitoring of the incident reporting and management.
- Supporting OF EXE in Self-Assessments (internal process compliance) and HSE Compliance (legal) process which require additional resources and/or HSE knowledge due to their complexity and continuous demand.
- Supporting Project Process Assessments (PPA) & Corrective Action Verification Audits (CAVA) requirements across OF EXE.
- Facilitating the capture, sharing and identify HSE feedback from projects (lessons learned, best practice, new solutions, investigation outcomes etc.)
- Conducting (where requested) and assist with incident investigations in accordance with company procedures.
Experience, Education And Qualifications
- We are looking for an experienced manager with high level leadership skills supported through a recognizable program.
- Relevant education in HSE such as NEBOSH Diploma in the subject of Health, Safety and Environmental Management is required.
- Minimum 5 years’ experience as HSE professional in a similar role, preferably with some International experience.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, problem solving ability, planning skills, time management, attention to detail, decision making ability.
- Proactive and flexible individual who is able and willing to travel nationally and internationally as per business needs.
