Responsibilities
- Set up and drive new members through the community funnel
- Engage with community daily to provide sense of belonging and utility
- Work with and recruit evangelists, customer merchants, and ambassador resellers to community
- Create built in source of real time community user feedback
- Make compelling invitations to potential community members
- Look for and advertise the client’s community in other communities and forums
- Provide space for members to easily understand and navigate while also fun to spend time in
- Welcome new members and introduce them to the conversations
- Execute campaigns to drive better community metrics and inclusion
- Set, plan and implement social media and communication campaigns and strategies
- Provide engaging text, image and video content for all social media and professional accounts
- Assist in managing a robust social & campaign calendar & social media strategy to align with business goals.
- Develop creative, clever & high-converting campaigns & social posts.
- Build the brand culture and cultivate the community.
- Assist in managing & posting across all social channels.
- Oversee social media accounts design (e.g. Timeline cover, profile pictures and blog layout)
- Perform research on current benchmark trends and audience preferences
- Generate, edit, publish and share engaging content daily (e.g. original text, photos, videos and news)
- Collaborate with other teams such as Content, Marketing, and Operations teams to ensure brand consistency and campaign execution.
- Communicate with followers, respond to queries in a timely manner and monitor customer reviews.
- Stay up-to-date with current technologies and trends in social media, design tools and applications.
- Build relationships with customers, industry professionals and journalists
Required profile for job ad : Community and Social Manager (Cryptocurrency/Blockchain)
- Degree in Marketing or relevant field
- Track record growing a following or growing a community
- Proven work experience as a crypto community builder, ambassador, manager or similar role
- Experience ideally within FinTech, Crypto, start-up environment.
- Experience planning and leading community initiatives
- Hands on experience with social media management, specifically Twitter, Discord and Telegram
- Ability to identify, and track and grow relevant community KPIs
- Excellent verbal communication skills
- Excellent writing skills
- Excellent interpersonal and presentations skills
- Ability to interpret website traffic
- Knowledge of online marketing
- Attention to detail, critical-thinker and problem-solver
- A global team player, able to work collectively as part of the marketing team, whilst having the confidence to work independently and deliver objectives and responsibilities.
