JOB SUMMARYNA
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESi.Manufacturing, Sewing, Maintenance and Repair of fishing gear;

ii. Caring for and monitoring fish ponds;

iii. Trapping on Lake or Sea;

iv. Making small nets;

v. Feeding fish in ponds; 

vi. Fishing in ponds;

vii. Provide advice to fishermen on various fishing techniques;

viii.Collecting fishing data from fish processing stations;

ix.Provide advice on fish conservation and methods of distribution and marketing of fish products; and

x. Educate the public on fish farming and the important things to consider.

 

QUALIFICATION AND EXPERIENCEEmployment of fourth or sixth form graduates with a Diploma in Fisheries or Fish Processing & Marketing from Mbegani, Kunduchi or other Government recognized colleges.
