For our Onshore Direct Drive Platform within the Product Integrity & Service Technology organization, we are looking for a skilled Electrical chief engineer. (CEE)
The platform is part of Product Integrity & Service Technology within the Global Service Organization. The focus of the Electrical chief Engineer is to design and provide support in all activities related to fleet support, design change management, technology improvements, customer request, cost optimization and lifetime asset management for all D3 turbines.
How To Contribute To Our Vision
In the position as Chief Engineer you will be responsible for:
- driving product developments through the complete engineering value chain
- challenge developers in the design phase and facilitate cross organization understanding
- different design tasks within an assigned project team of mechanical engineers
- delivering technical solutions meeting the defined requirements based on technical norms and standards
As our new Chief Engineer, you will be in direct contact with the end customer to understand their needs and to secure the right design change to be developed.
In order to foster the costumer relations, align priorities, apply the latest knowledge and to have influence on our business, you will establish, maintain and develop collaboration with many stakeholders within Product Integrity & Service Technology, Service Operations and Onshore Technology. Networking is a key.
The position will have high focus on high reliability and performance throughout lifetime, while also focusing on aftermarket products, ensuring the most optimal operation of the wind turbines and thereby generating most possible value to our customers.
What You Need To Make a Difference
Passion for renewable energy and a sense for the importance to lead the change.
We imagine you to have
- Bachelor’s or master´s degree in Electrical Engineering or similar
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience within product development
- Broad turbine knowledge incl. software control. and Electrical engineering
Besides being an experienced user in statistic (six sigma or similar) also familiar with 8D reporting, DFMEA, good knowledge of Matlab, as data is often the key to understanding and solve an issue. is considered an advantage.
You are a motivator and a proactive problem solver, adaptable to change and keep a customer centric approach and an operational mind set. You thrive with teamwork, networking and want to motivate and couch team members, have a strong desire and ability to drive improvements and change, and master a critical eye when needed to challenge colleagues.
At times working under time pressure and pushing technical boundaries. You must have high focus on closing and following cases to the end.
You have strong communication skills in English, both orally and in writing.
