JOB SUMMARYNA
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESi.Participate in conducting fishing censuses in fishing areas;

ii. Advising fishermen on various fishing techniques;

iii. Receiving and capturing data on fishery products;

iv. Educate the community about sustainable fishing;

v. Provide technical advice on access to fish production statistics;

vi.Collect, receive, analyze and maintain accurate fishing data and advise accordingly;

vii. Monitor and record fish production statistics; and

viii. To perform such other duties as may be assigned to him / her by his / her supervisor of duties related to his / her profession.

 

 

QUALIFICATION AND EXPERIENCERecruitment of Form IV or VI graduates with Diploma (NTA Level 6) in Fisheries from the Fisheries Education and Training Agency (FETA) or similar qualifications from other Government recognized colleges.
