DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES	i) Checking the safety of fishing boats; ii) Cleaning Fishing boats; iii) Maintain fishing gear and fish stocks; iv) Carrying out minor repairs to fishing gear; and v) To perform such other functions as may be assigned to him by his supervisor.
QUALIFICATION AND EXPERIENCE	Recruitment of Form IV graduates with a Fisheries Education Certificate from Fisheries Education and Training Agency (FETA) or with a Shipping Training Certificate from the University of Dar es Salaam. Salaam - DMI or similar qualification from other Government recognized colleges.
