Description
Mission:
- Serve as the primary ServiceNow ITSM/ITOM technical point of contact for business users and internal teams.
- Define technical solutions by design that are aligned with ServiceNow ITOM/ Automation/ ITSM implementation best practices.
- Maintain expert knowledge of Incident, Request and Problem modules.
- Responsible for development on the ServiceNow platform to support BAU and enhancement needs for ITSM, ITBM, ITOM, CMDB and CSM modules.
- Responsible for coding, testing, implementing, maintaining and supporting changes to the application.
- Customise ServiceNow applications and facilitate the deployment of new applications and modules, configure the application user interface and configure the workflow.
- Ensure project quality to guarantee customer satisfaction.
- Ensure that the appropriate tools and processes are in place to provide a reliable and repeatable development/production environment.
- Ensure consistency of tool configuration across development, QA and production environments.
- Identify system deficiencies and recommend solutions.
- Ensure that the latest version of the ServiceNow application is implemented on time with minimal or no disruption to IT operations.
- Maintenance and continuous improvement of processes, standards, policies, work methods and tools.
- Participate in the design and implementation of ServiceNow at our customers' sites.
- Participate in workshops with functional consultants to understand and define requirements.
- Propose the most relevant technical solutions for clients.
- Carry out the mock-up of the requirements.
- Work with the ServiceNow team and business stakeholders to monitor slippage and resolve technical issues and critical path challenges.
- Continuously monitor production and end-user requirements.
Required profile for job ad : Developer ServiceNow (ITSM)
- Bachelor's degree in software engineering or a related field.
- 3+ years of successful experience as a consultant on ServiceNow and in the deployment of ServiceNow tools/modules such as ITSM / ITBM / ITOM / CMDB.
- 3+ years’ experience on ServiceNow, preferably with an IT integrator (Cap Gemini, Orange Business Service, etc.).
- Experience working on various modules and integrations in the ServiceNow environment, such as ITSM (required), ITOM, CSM, Vulnerability, etc.
- Experience of delivering ServiceNow global service implementations/migrations/catalogues.
- Good working knowledge and experience of JavaScript / HTML / CSS / AJAX/ Angular/ Bootstrap / Jelly Script.
- Proficiency in client and server-side scripting, record producers, workflows, wizards, reporting and best practices.
- Strong knowledge of ITSM and IT operations management.
- Understand the ServiceNow ecosystem and be able to demonstrate practical expertise with ServiceNow.
- You enjoy collaborative environments that use agile methodologies to encourage creative thinking and find innovative ways to develop cutting edge technologies.
- Intuitive person, able to manage change and demonstrate good time management.
- Proven interpersonal skills while contributing to the team effort by achieving related results as required.
- Update technical knowledge by attending training workshops and consulting publications.
- Expert level skills in the ITOM / ITSM product line, including current CIS ITOM / ITSM certification(s).
- Certified Implementation Specialist - IT Service Management (ITSM).
