About Job:

Digital/Web journalists are responsible for reporting on current events and breaking news. They often work directly with editors to determine the most important stories of the day, week or month. Digital/web journalists may also be tasked with creating original content that is published online in addition to traditional print publications.

Digital/ Web journalists must be able to quickly gather information from a variety of sources and synthesize it into an engaging narrative that will appeal to their audience. This requires strong writing skills as well as an ability to think critically about what’s happening in the world around us.

Digital Journalist Job Duties

Digital journalists have a wide range of responsibilities, which can include:

1] Writing sports news stories that are published on websites or in print publications

2] Conducting interviews with public figures or experts in order to gather information for stories

3] Organizing and editing written content to improve readability, consistency, and clarity

4] Conducting research to identify topics of interest to readers,

5] Conducting interviews with experts in order to gather information for articles or stories

6] Reporting on breaking local sports news stories and developing new leads for stories

7] Transcribing interviews or other recordings in order to make them suitable for publication

8] Conducting research on topics related to current events or issues within the community

9] Researching, writing, editing, and publishing stories about local sports news events for a newspaper or website
