Upcoming FLOOR MANAGER

Recently our management team took over the management of the hotel and restaurant with the purpose and goal of bringing all to a high and professional quality level so our guest can enjoy an amazing and unforgettable experience when visiting us. This means that as an upcoming floor manager you will need the following skills in order to be successful:

As an upcoming Floor manager you will have the following tasks & duties:

Restaurant management

be aware of and assist in achieving restaurant operational objectives by:

•   Generating information for improvements
•    Help with action plans for the team including daily responsibilities
•    Help resolve team issues and guest complaints
•  Manage daily operations to ensure that it operates efficiently continuously have eye for details which will help improve profitability and success
•  Ensure adequate staffing of the restaurant at all times
•  Be present at the restaurant’s opening and closing
•  Ensure that all operations procedures are in line with JP Hospitality standard operating procedures  (opening, closing, service, cleaning, etc.)
• Stay updated on all JP Hospitality services, entertainment, Food and Beverage offering; communicate daily changes to the team
•  Stay updated on all JP Hospitality policies, memos, procedures, promotions, etc. and communicate changes to the team
•  Review the daily restaurant logbook and take action when necessary
• Submit to the Head of operations a monthly report including but not limited to sales, guest  satisfaction, actual performance
•  Help to identifying and following up on all restaurant maintenance issues
• Help in any area of the restaurant when circumstances dictate
• Cooperate and collaborate with the booking manager
•  Help the team members to develop by training them on the job and organize training sessions

Communication skills:

• As an upcoming restaurant floor manager, you must be able to communicate effectively with staff, customers and restaurant management.

Leadership skills:

• As an upcoming restaurant floor manager, you show that you feel responsible for the success of your restaurant’s operations. You have the ability to help the team feels happy and is productive.

Team-building skills:

• As an upcoming restaurant floor manager, you show the skill to motivate people to grow and develop.

Problem-solving skills:

•  As an upcoming restaurant floor manager, you need problem solving skills to help with resolving customer complaints, employee disputes and other issues that arise during your shift.

Customer service:

• Customer service is the ability to interact with customers in a friendly and helpful manner and you can help train the junior staff to do so too
