National Tuberculosis And Leprosy Program (NTLP)

Job Title: TB/HIV Coordinator (1 Position)
Location: Dodoma
Reporting to: Program Manager.
Duties and Responsibilities
: • Coordinate and monitor implementation of TB/HIV collaborative activities in the country.
• Take lead in writing grant proposals for funding request for TB/HIV collaborative activities under CDC/PEPFAR support.
• Take lead in the development of technical guidelines and tools for TB/HIV collaborative services.
• Provide technical support and guidance to regions and partners in implementation of TB/HIV collaborative activities.
• Coordinate and conduct TB/HIV trainings and supportive supervisions on TB/HIV activities.
• Prepare periodic financial and technical reports.
• Any other duties as assigned by the Program Manager.

Experience and Qualifications
• Degree in Medicine with Master of Public health or MSc in Epidemiology;
• Three years’ working experience in HIV care and treatment including TB/HIV;
• Experience in management of infectious disease such as TB and TB/HIV;
• Experience working with Councils and Regional health management teams is an added advantage;
• Good interpersonal and leadership skills;
• Familiar with the tools and methodology used for both quantitative and qualitative data;
• Strong communication skills, good data visualization skills and creative presentation techniques;
• Proficient in using Microsoft office applications, advanced excel is an added advantage;
• Age limit: 50 years.

Terms of engagement: 7 months contract - renewable (Renewable based on Performance and availability of funds).
