FABEC Investment Limited is the Sub Contractor for WASCO ISOAF TZ LTD in the EAST AFRICA CRUDE OIL Project (EACOP) contracted to build the coating plant in EACOP coating yard in Tabora region Nzega district, Igusule ward. The company is seeking eligible and qualified applicants for the following positions:
Store Keepers: (2 positions)
Duties and responsibilities
- Comply with procedures and protocols as per the company stock management and control policy
- Controls inventory levels by conducting physical counts and reconciling with stock Bin cards
- Setup store layout to ensure efficient space utilization
- Plans and performs work that involves ordering, receiving, inspecting, returning, loading and off-loading.
- Participate in physical inventory counts in his/her warehouse and/ or stores.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Minimum of a diploma in store keeping or equivalent
- 3+ years of experience in storekeeping, inventory control, or recordkeeping in busy environment.
- Knowledge of proper book keeping and inventory management
- Familiarity with standard concepts and best practices in a stockroom or warehouse environment.
- Participate in physical inventory counts in his/her warehouse and/ or stores
- Updating inventory records at the end of working day: the GRNs, Bin/Stack Cards, Stock Cards should be updated daily and produce reports and statistics regularly (IN/OUT status report)
- Analytical mind with ability to make accurate mathematical computations
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Competencies in data entry, analysis, and management
- Keen attention to detail and ability to effectively manage time Skills to operate common office equipment
