JOB SUMMARYN / A
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESi.Recognizing and serving people in specific groups and vulnerable situations,

ii.P Prepare an annual work plan based on the budget for social welfare activities in the workplace

iii. Identify and conduct preliminary assessments of persons with disabilities, victims of sexual abuse and violence against children to link them to social welfare services.

iv. Participate in the classification of various matters relating to the welfare of the non-judicial community

v. Receiving and compiling a list of recommendations for medical exemptions and other social welfare services for those eligible

vi. Participate in child protection and safety activities

vii. Participate in activities to establish and inspect child care and development centers in various areas including disaster areas and refugee camps 

viii. Identify and collaborate with social welfare stakeholders and connect them with people with special needs to access appropriate services

ix.Receive and collect data for the preparation of information for social welfare workers

x.Participate in the monitoring of the welfare of social workers and prepare reports for the Social Inquiry / Investigation Report.

xi.Making a register and updating staff records 

xii.Provide community education on various social welfare issues

xiii.Doing any other job assigned to him or her by his or her supervisor based on his or her education and skills

 

QUALIFICATION AND EXPERIENCE
  • To employ Form Four or Six graduates and Diploma graduates in the following fields; Social work, Sociology, Psychology, Social protection, Guidance and Counseling, Theology, Divinity, Child protection, Social policy, Early childhood development and Social gerontology
