About the job

The Senior Marketing Manager is accountable for devising and executing comprehensive marketing strategies aimed at enhancing brand awareness, acquiring new customers, and boosting revenue growth. This role entails working with cross-functional teams, crafting and executing marketing campaigns, evaluating market trends, overseeing budgets, and ensuring alignment with company goals. The Senior Marketing Manager will play a crucial role in shaping the brands identity, optimizing marketing channels, and achieving business plans through effective marketing initiatives.

Responsibilities

Develop and grow the company brand image and positioning strategy. Work with the in house creative team to create great marketing communications and content that will drive brand awareness and consideration across multiple touchpoints. Select communication channels based on a thorough knowledge of our target customer segments by products and market. Engage with channel partners to achieve brand differentiation and deliver business results in the respective market(s).

  • Partner with the communications & PR team to deliver strategic messaging and overall corporate communications related to major milestones
  • Create and implement social media and e-commerce strategies to increase brand awareness, drive revenue and build a strong corporate brand.
  • Work cohesively with a variety of stakeholders across sales, product management and the central marketing team to ensure alignment on all marketing campaigns and activities.
  • Ensure visibility for all company products in the market as per set targets.
  • Create and execute OOH branding strategy that will drive visibility and awareness for all sales channels for the business i.e. EasyBuy direct, Retail, MFI and general partners.
  • Create and implement store/shop branding strategies and processes that ensure shop optimization, and ensure timely execution of shop branding in the respective geographies.
  • Leverage on multiple marketing strategies – ATL, BTL & TTL to address market needs and assist all sales channels.
  • Ensure all branding is implemented to the set company standards (as per brand Picture of Success)
  • Work closely with sales teams in the development of compelling agent and customer promotions to drive sales of company products.
  • Create marketing materials and other collateral to aid EO’s in effective selling i.e., Product videos, Sales kits and manuals, marketing POSM, marketing merchandise etc.
  • Proactively propose and develop innovative materials/tools that can be used for effective direct sales - (by sales team/ EOs, customer service agents).
  • Create innovative uniforms and other collateral (swag) for sales teams.
  • Effectively monitor and control budget allocation and deployment to ensure all spend is within the approved departmental budget.
  • Identify innovative ‘out of the box’ ideas on how to achieve efficiencies, save costs and overall effective utilization of the budget.
  • Develop activity costs forecasts for validation & proper financial planning and efficient achievements.
  • Effectively manage resources allocated through close monitoring of activities and by providing assistance to the Commercial Business Unit (B2C & B2B).
  • Develop and manage close relationships with agencies and suppliers as well as between the marketing division and other internal partners.
  • Drive cost productivity in procurement.
  • Manage agencies in implementation, execution and evaluation of marketing campaigns, ensuring high quality of all items being delivered to the highest of standards.
  • Ensure quarterly evaluation of activation agencies with procurement teams based on the set performance criteria.

Requirements Knowledge And Experience

  • Holds a degree in a business-related field.
  • Has 5+ years’ hands-on marketing experience in the FMCG, Telecommunications or Solar industry.
  • Well-networked individual with entrepreneurial energy and passion to develop large businesses from the ground-up.
  • Able to build strong teams and lead them to deliver superior performance.
  • Able to effectively work cross-functionally across several geographies, regions and teams.
  • Strong ability to analyze data and insights to inform strategy.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • An excellent team player with strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Strong planning and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects at a time.
  • Highly results and performance oriented with the ability to solve problems and make critical decisions.
  • Self-motivated, self-starter who is willing to take initiative, ownership & accountability.
  • Ability to develop strong internal and external partnerships and form strategic alliances.
  • Excellent negotiation/influencing and presentation skills.
  • Ability and availability to travel on average 40-60% of the time.
