In order to highly deliver and resolve challenges in the mentioned sectors, (CEDC) seeks to employ the following Volunteers:
Project Coordinators ( 3 posts)
Reporting to: Program Manager

The Project Coordinator (RPC) is a self-motivated individual who will implement day-today project activities in liaison with the different partners at the localized community project sites. She/he will be responsible to the Program Manager and will work in close collaboration with the relevant region, district level staff and heads of departments Primary responsibilities include:

  • Review reports from the project facilitator assemble and submitting to program manager
  • Manage the proposal development process; including assessing requirements, acquiring content from subject matter experts and team members, formulating clear and effective responses, and complying with all solicitation requirements
  • Review, edit, and proofread proposals and other materials to ensure accuracy, clarity, consistency of documents and to ensure compliance with Firm guidelines and standards as well as all prospective client requirements
  • Develop proposal content through original writing and the adaption of pre-formulated content
  • Work collaboratively with local and international stakeholders against strict deadlines
  • Work collaboratively with other outsourced Proposal specialists to develop new content and templates, ensure consistency, and bring forward new ideas to improve approach and process.
  • Support other writing, editing, and marketing projects as needed

Skills needed:

  • Bachelor degree well experienced in programming
  • Masters’ degree with writing-intensive coursework is an added advantage
  • 2 - 5 years’ experience in proposal development preferably in the field of social sciences and allied sciences
  • Experience in research writing provisions
  • Experience program designs based to community development
  • Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills with a sharp eye for detail
  • Strong interpersonal and communications skills and the ability to work effectively with people at all levels
  • Proficiency with analysis tools SPSS,STRATA and EPI Info applications,
  • Ability to multi-task while being responsive to short deadlines and frequent changes in schedule
  • Flexibility regarding schedule and workload and a willingness to work overtime, as needed, to meet all deadlines
  • Ability to travel to other offices throughout Dodoma region
  • Computer literate
