Description
African Family History is a project where data collectors go door to door to collect personal family history (genealogical information) through physical (face-to-face) Interviews.
The goal is to preserve African family history/tradition/culture that has been passed down from generation to generation.
We need locals within Tanzania to work in our African Oral Family history project In Lushoto, Mkinga, and Korogwe.
We need people with experience in the field of marketing or social research to manage and implement this project with a monthly minimum delivery goal.
Task & Responsibilities:
- Help in community entry, meeting with the area chief and other local leaders.
- Recruit a team of field agents that he/she will be supervising.
- Connecting the team to the local Leadership.
- Meeting with the local leaders and area administrators to explain the main objective of the project.
- Supervise the field agents to ensure QUALITY work.
- Visit fields frequently to monitor data collection
- Review work completed by agents to ensure SOP is followed.
- Assist in training the team member.
- Having good interpersonal skills and good team player.
- Work with minimum supervision.
Required profile for job ad : Operations Manager / Field Manager (Research)Qualification & Experience:
- Diploma graduate with 1 to 2 years of experience (working in the field of Marketing or Social research).
- Diploma in Social Sciences or any related field.
