Rigor International on behalf of its client is looking to recruit an Operations Manager
Job Brief:
•Coordinate and oversee our organization’s operations.
•Implement the right processes and practices across the organization.
•Mentoring and motivating the team reach optimal performance levels
•Find ways to increase customer experience whilst implementing best practices
Responsibilities
•Ensure all operations are carried on in an appropriate, cost-effective way
•Grow the efficiency of organizational processes and procedures to enhance and sustain the organization’s internal capacity
•Perform quality controls and monitor the attainment of KPIs
•Train and supervise staff
•Find ways to increase quality of customer service
•Ensure all operational activities are done on time and within a defined budget
•Maintain constant communication with management, staff, and vendors to ensure proper operations of the organization
•Work closely with department heads to make sure organization’s processes remain legally compliant
•Oversee materials and inventory management
•Conduct budget reviews and report cost plans to management

Skills and Qualifications
•Proven work experience as Operations Manager or similar role
•2+ years’ proven experience in an operations/ management/ supervisory position
•Experience budgeting and forecasting
•Familiarity with business and financial principles
•Excellent communication skills
•Leadership ability
•Outstanding organizational skills
•Degree/ Advanced Diploma in Business, Administration, Operations Management or related field
•Background in hospitality is an added advantage

Preferred Qualifications
•Excellent ability to delegate responsibilities while maintaining control of operations and customer service
•Fluent in English and Swahili: Both spoken and written.
•Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
•Working knowledge in QuickBooks will be an added advantage
•A team leader and player with great interpersonal skills.
•Strong sense of responsibility.
