Miracle Experience Tanzania is looking for an experienced OPERATION MANAGER to work in their different camp Sites.
The Operations Manager (OM) will assist in the overall tasks related to administration, planning and supervision of the Camp Sites.

Qualifications:

A minimum of 7 years experience in an Operations Management position in a 4/5 Star Hotel / Lodges/Camps

Requirements
Knowledge of Civil Aviation is an added advantage
Diploma or degree in hotel management or related field.
Proven working experience in 5-star hotels in an executive committee leadership role, with at least 7 years experience in this position.
Working knowledge of various computer software programs (MS Office, PMS, POS and on-line booking technology).
Competence to build and effectively manage interpersonal relationships at all levels of the company, and to make effective and arguable decisions (a team of 70 people).
Excellent knowledge of English.
Must be extremely hands on and have a high level of patience.
Should be experienced within all different areas of a Hotel / Lodge
Polite, friendly person with a strong personality that can think on their feet
Good PR
Well spoken and well presented individual
Strong leader who have been in charge of employees before
Must be computer literate

Responsibilities:

• Effective leadership, manage and oversee all departments within the Lodge / Resort
• Plan and manage the day to day operations effectively
• Drive the broader goals of the hotel in relation to all outlets .
• To ensure consistent acquisition and maintenance of guests
• The managing of Human Resources paperwork for the entire hotel
• Ensure the required policies, procedures and administrative systems and controls are in place
• Day to day guest interaction to receive feedback and actively implement necessary action
• Overseeing and assisting in departmental stock takes
• Adherence to all company practices
• Leading, training and motivating the team
• Drive the hotel’s quality plan and implement all required standards
• To oversee and control all the general operations and activities related to the lodge.
• To oversee the daily functions of the hotel by monitoring each Head of Department.
• To follow the instructions from the GM regarding decisions and implementation of policies.
• To ensure that there are no changes in décor, menus or concepts without prior written approval by the GM.
• To provide a written report to the GM on a monthly basis regarding issues concerning the hotel.
• To ensure that the rules & regulations that govern the workplace are followed by staff and management.
• To continuously try to exceed the high standards & success of the hotel.
• To be responsible for planning ahead and setting goals for the individual departments and the hotel in general.
• To lead and organize the staff including the senior managers in all operations.
• To report any guest complaints to the GM.
