ii.Design, manufacture and maintenance of fishing gear (Fishing Gears); 

iii.Direct and operate small boats / ships with a length of 40 feet and a registered weight of 50 - 100 tons "Gross Tonnage (GRT)"; 

iv. Conducting fishing activities on ships; 

v. Participate in conducting maritime and land patrols, and EEZ patrols; 

vi.Read VMS reports and submit them to the Head of the facility daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly, semi-annually and annually; 

vii. Arresting Fisheries Law and Criminal Law; 

viii.Helping to keep all records of fuel consumption in patrol containers; 

ix.Help prepare to schedule maintenance and service of all patrol equipment (service schedule); 

x.From the duties of the force as set out in Section 32 of the Fisheries Act and. 22 of 2003; and 

xi. To perform other duties of his / her profession shall be assigned by the superintendent.
