Job Description
The Mining Marketing Manager is responsible for creating offers based on customer needs within the Mining industry. The role will be responsible for defining and owning the marketing plan for the Mining industry, targeted product offers, pricing, and executing the operational marketing plan.
Lead the marketing campaigns for the Mining Industry and be the ‘customer voice’ to build trust, value others, communicate effectively, drive execution, foster innovation, and focus on delivery to customers.
Main Responsibilities
• Own, define and deliver the marketing plan (4P’s) for the mining industry,
• Work closely with the Operational Marketing team to tailor communications activities: mining event recommendations, content and review for news and announcements, support to digital assets, etc.
• Define, drive, and deliver the mining industry content, including sales kit, customer testimonials and case studies, brochures, videos, etc.
• Build the mining industry competition landscape and regular relevant strategic analysis, feeding insight back to marketing, sales, and product teams
• Use CRM regularly to view insight, customer activities and evolve the customer persona
• Support sales to achieve the operational plan revenue related to our mining product portfolio, contribute to presentations, proposals and offers,
• Contribute to define customer and market requirements for product development roadmaps.
• As a market expert, attend mining events and support customer meetings,
• Understanding of regulatory environment of the mining market and evaluate the impact for our product development.
• Familiarity with Caterpillar, Hitachi, BELL, Liebherr, Komatsu equipment
Key Skills and Experience
• Mining industry expertise: previous experience working for a mining or mining exploration company will be highly considered,
• Capable to translate technical and complex information into a simple content, leveraging from strong creativity and writing skills,
• An ability to understand buyer’s needs,
• Good understanding of the sales process and capable to bring support in the most critical phases
• Capable to navigate various audiences and levels of decision-makers thanks to excellent communication and networking skills,
• Good understanding of technology and demonstrate a strong willingness to learn new technology
• Minimum 5 years in a strategy, marketing, or sales role
• Excellent communication skills – both verbal and written
• Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills
• Well organized with great planning skills
• Strong presentation skills
• Great ability to work in a team and collaborate effectively
• Creative mindset
