i.              To give advice and conduct legal research where needed according to the Ministry, Government Department or place where he is;

ii.            Communicating with other Offices regarding legal issues with the instructions of Law Officers at higher levels.

iii.          Communicating with the Attorney General of the Government regarding litigation issues affecting the Ministry/Government Department where he is

iv.          Communicating with the Attorney General of the Government on all issues related to the drafting of the Law

v.           Ensuring that contracts/agreements are made in accordance with the laws of the country where he is

v.          Communicate with the police and the Director of Public Prosecutions in relation to the criminal cases of the area where he is.

Employed with a first degree in Law from colleges recognized by the Government and who have completed legal training recognized by the Attorney General's Office or successfully completed a one-year legal training at the Law School of Tanzania.
