Based in Dar es Salaam, Oli Loop Inc. is an emerging software company that focuses on closing technological gaps in Tanzania. We are a diverse, collaborative, curious, passionate group of young minds trying to enable organisations, businesses, corporate and the government operate seamlessly through simple yet efficient IT solutions.

Oli Loop drives it success from an amazing team with over 10 years of combined industry experience in software development, consultancy, investment banking and advisory. We operate in three pillars: Design, Create and Maintain - with satisfaction.

Your responsibilities:

• Assisting the development team with all aspects of software design, coding and testing.
• Attending and contributing to company's development briefings.
• Gathering information from clients about program functionality.
• Participating in code review and working on minor bug fixes.

Qualifications we need: 

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or other relating fields.
• Knowledge of HTML(5), CSS(3) and JavaScript coding language including any of the following; Node.js, Vue.js, React, Fastify, Express and Meteor.
• 1 year industry experience working on usable software projects.
• Ability to read, modify and use open source software and libraries.
• Knowledge of version control systems preferably GitHub.
• Basic knowledge of databases (relational & NoSQL), ODMs and server operating systems - preferably Linux.
• Out-of-the-box thinker with an urge to learn new software and technologies quickly.
• Knowledge of software design and design patterns is an added advantage.
