We are looking for an experienced people manager as team lead for our Project Coordinators worldwide.
In this role, you will be responsible for the people, processes and tools needed to ensure efficient and reliable execution of the Project Coordination scope across our project portfolio. You will share the management responsibility for the global team of talented and engaged Project Coordinators with a 2nd team lead. In addition, you will be responsible for the Management Communication activities and the onboarding approach for new colleagues in the global Project Management organization.
Your Responsibilities Will Include
- Functional management of one part of the global team, i.e. recruiting, onboarding, managing, and developing team members
- Sufficient and competent staffing of Project Coordinators to our projects
- Strengthen global processes, standards, tools and best practices for the Project Coordinator role, implement them in the team, and ensure adherence by team members
- Develop and implement the set-up of our internal collaboration platform for all project teams (based on Sharepoint and Workpoint)
- Establish and drive standard solutions for project correspondence with the customers
- Plan and execute global communication activities with department management
- Contribute to the establishment of a learning culture in your team and the PM organization
What You Need To Make a Difference
You are an engaged people manager and known to build a structured and empowering work environment. You have high quality standards and a keen interest in continuously improving the processes and standards of your organization and beyond. You enjoy – and maybe already have experience in – executing communication activities, e.g. event planning or preparing information calls. You enjoy working with IT tools where you can both handle technical aspects as well as the change management and training that are needed for implementation. Experience in working with project teams and interfacing with customers is a plus. You hold a relevant degree and have at least 5 years of experience from working in a multicultural environment.
As a person, you are structured, friendly, collaborative, and responsible. You communicate well: clearly, concisely, and in an engaging way. Experience with using social media effectively is a plus. Multiple assignments at the same time are a challenge you appreciate, and you are good at prioritizing tasks and time. You possess excellent English skills, both orally and in writing.
