Job Summary

As the GM of Business Expansion, you'll assess, plan, and execute Printify's business expansion goals, render research, collaborate with other departments, and hire team members as needed. You'll report directly to our Co-CEO and work with the Senior Leadership Team. An ambitious self-starter with proven analytical capabilities, a strategic mindset, and broad business experience, you'll independently initiate, plan and implement new ideas in a fast-paced and competitive start-up environment.

Job Description/

Responsibilities:

  • Own and build. You're accountable for choosing the right direction, business strategy, and implementation tactics to drive results while ensuring smooth operations.
  • Research. You're on top of market trends, clearly identifying gaps and opportunities to fill them. You understand our customer behavior, preferences, and needs to develop new, valuable offerings.
  • Analyze. You incorporate data to inform business orientation, product strategies, and operational roadmaps and decide on high-level input metrics. You have a business plan for your strategy and know the required investments and ROI.
  • Strategize. You define and execute our product-offering expansion vision and strategy while balancing short­ and long­-term goals.
  • Influence. You collaborate with our Operations, Product, Engineering, Finance, and Growth teams to drive the experience of suppliers, merchants, and end-customers. You lead your team to deliver results by executing daily, weekly, and monthly targets to support operation objectives.
  • Improve. You identify process inefficiencies, propose scalable global solutions, and eliminate barriers to accuracy, productivity, and quality. Additionally, you solve complex customer interactions and proactively detect negative trends.
Required profile for job ad : General Manager Business ExpansionMinimum Qualifications:

  • Five years of experience in a similar role
  • Experience in a top consulting firm (e.g., BCG, Bain & Company, McKinsey)
  • Experience in a software product company
  • Proven track record of building and executing a business expansion strategy
  • Experience in high-growth environments with changing circumstances, directions, and strategies
  • Extensive business understanding and customer empathy
  • Strong ability to analyze data

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience working with eCommerce or marketplace platforms
  • Excellent written and verbal English skills
  • Effective ability to correspond in a clear, concise, and consistent manner
  • Proven track record of delivering objectives on time
  • Experience in working independently, juggling multiple tasks, and prioritizing customer-facing initiatives
  • Ability to develop and implement department visions, goals, and strategies
  • Proven track record of providing positive recommendations and implementing new ideas to fix negative behaviors
