ISRA Gold Company (ISRA) is a subsidiary of ISRA International with operations throughout the various gold regions of Tanzania. The position stated in this advertisement is situated in Lwamgasa about 40km's from Geita Town Centre. The company has its head office in Mwanza. • Chemist, BSc Metallurgy and Mineral Engineer

Metallurgist (5 positions):

• We are currently seeking highly motivated and experienced metallurgists to join our team on a 3-month fixed-term probationary basis.
• The successful candidates will have at least 5 years of experience working in gold mining and processing plants.
• They will be responsible for ensuring the efficient and effective operation of our CIP plant, conducting metallurgical tests and analyses, developing and implementing process improvements, and providing technical guidance to other members of the team.
• A degree in metallurgy or a related field is required, along with excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work well under pressure.

Plant Manager (3 positions):

• We are looking for experienced plant managers to oversee the day-to-day operations of our gold processing plant on a 3-month fixed-term probationary basis.
• The successful candidates will have at least 10 years of experience in plant management, preferably in a gold processing plant.
• They will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient operation of the plant, managing production schedules, supervising plant personnel, and implementing quality control measures.
• A degree in chemical engineering or a related field is required, along with excellent leadership skills and the ability to work well in a team environment.

Lab Technician (5 positions):

• We are currently seeking lab technicians with at least 5 years of experience in gold mining and processing plants to join our team on a 3-month fixed-term probationary basis.
• The successful candidates will be responsible for conducting metallurgical tests and analyses, maintaining laboratory equipment, and ensuring compliance with safety and environmental regulations.
• A degree in chemistry or a related field is required, along with excellent attention to detail and the ability to work independently.

Plant Operator (5 positions):

• We are seeking experienced plant operators to join our team on a 3-month fixed-term probationary basis.
• The successful candidates will have at least 5 years of experience working in gold processing plants, and will be responsible for operating and maintaining plant equipment, monitoring production processes, and performing routine maintenance tasks.
• A degree in mechanical engineering or a related field is preferred, along with excellent technical skills and the ability to work well in a team environment

• ALL CANDIDATES SHOULD HAVE THE REQUIRED TERTIARY EDUCATION / COLLEGE DIPLOMA AND RELEVANT EXPERIENCE.

Eligibility:
To qualify for this position, one MUST:

• Be a Tanzanian citizen.
• Be a Tanzanian graduate aged between 22 – 35 years;
• Have completed a relevant Bachelor's Degree (NTA8).
• Have graduated between 2005 and 2018
• Be well spoken and have good interpersonal skills.
