globalbike is seeking a Mechanic Trainer and Quality Control Specialist to lead globalbike’s mechanic and quality control program. This position is based in Moshi.

Responsibilities include:
• Managing and evaluating a comprehensive mechanic training program
• Monitoring progress and quality control standards among all mechanics
• Evaluating, identifying, and communicating quality control issues
• Collaborating with suppliers and staff

Requirements:
• Able to develop professional and trusting relationships with rural women entrepreneurs
• Demonstrated expertise in bike mechanics and training of bike mechanics
• Rigorous attention to detail and high performance standards
• Fluency in Kiswahili and English

Preferred qualifications:
• Experience training women in bike mechanics
• Experience working in rural areas

The Mechanic Trainer and Quality Control Specialist will work under the supervision of globalbike’s executive director. This is a short-term contract with potential for long-term employment upon performance review.
