Chief Paint Technician

Qualifications

● Accredited as an automotive Paint Technician

● Experience with all necessary aspects of vehicle refinishing, surface preparation, Color matching, Masking, and top coating & polishing

Experience:

● Minimum 5 years of work experience in any authorized dealer outlet in equivalent cadre

Monitoring Fix it right at first time and every time.

● Ensure all protective equipment to maintain the cleanliness of the customer’s vehicle (Seat Covers, Floor Mats, Fender Covers)

● Ensure all the safety devices in accordance with the operation performed.

● (Technician cap, Goggles, Filter Type mask, Air- line Mask, Respirators, Solvent resistant Gloves, Safety shoes)

● Maintain an adequate inventory of technicians hand tools to meet the service and repair requirement

● Ensure all customers requests on the repair order are completed to a high quality standard.

● Strive to complete all repair orders within the time allotted.

● Confirm with J.C and advice the Paint Tech for any additional repair items found.

● Stage by Stage carry out final inspection of all work completed

● Monitoring the Clock-on & Clock Off in time card of the Paint Technicians

● Transcribe clear accurate account of all work complete onto the repair order.

● Monitor & Maintain a clean and professional appearance at all times.

● Monitor & Ensure work area clean and tidy at all times.

● Monitor work area clean and tidy at all times

● Identify the training needs & conduct accordingly.

● Accredited as an automotive Paint Technician.
