National Tuberculosis And Leprosy Program (NTLP)

Job Title: Assistant data Manager (1 Position)
Location: Dodoma
Reporting to: Data Manager.
Duties and Responsibilities
: • Ensure the Program’s data is properly organized, analyzed and stored.
• Ensure quality of Program’s data from the various sources.
• Prepare Program’s reports as per M&E Communication plan and schedule
• Ensure the Program’s data management Standard Operating Procedures are being followed by the Regional and Councils Program’s Coordinators.
• Provide technical assistance to the Regional and Councils coordinators on data management such as during the Regional Quarterly data review meetings
• Provide training and technical assistance on the use of the Program’s surveillance system - DHIS2 ETL
• Ensure the Program’s data policy on sharing and use is adhered
• Perform any other duties as assigned by the Data manager.

Experience and Qualifications
: • Degree in Statistics or Mathematics from recognizer institutions.
• Three years’ experience in health management information system.
• Knowledge on TB and Leprosy performance indicators
• A problem-solving and interpersonal skills.
• Good command in English both in speaking and writing.
• Experience in using DHIS2 -ETL is an added advantage.
• Skills to use statistical packages
Age limit: 50 years

Terms of engagement: Seven months contract - renewable (Renewable based on Performance and availability of funds).
