We are partnered with a rapidly growing diagnostics company in the area of infectious diseases, they use point-of-care technology to bring diagnostic tests to market. Our client is seeking a highly experienced and dynamic VP of Medical Affairs to join their organisation and coordinate all medical affairs activities.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with executive leadership to establish short-term and long-term goals, ensuring effective execution and continuous improvement.
• Provide guidance and support to ensure adherence to regulatory standards and facilitate successful accreditation and certification processes.
• Monitor and analyse clinical performance metrics, identify areas for improvement, and develop strategies to address gaps.
• Build and lead a high-performing medical affairs team, providing mentorship, guidance, and professional development opportunities.
• Oversees and coordinates the collaboration of internal and external medical personnel.
• Collaborate with the research and education departments to facilitate the integration of cutting-edge research.

Requirements:

• Medical Doctor (MD) degree, with Board Certification in a speciality area.
• A minimum of 10 years of progressive leadership experience in medical affairs.
• Strong knowledge of healthcare regulations, compliance, and accreditation standards.
• Exceptional leadership and management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a diverse team.
• Demonstrated success in strategic planning, execution, and managing large-scale clinical programs.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and stakeholder management skills.
