We are looking for a passionate and experienced Market Intelligence Analyst to join our strategic portfolio management team within our PLM department in the Service Business Unit based at our offices in Brande, Denmark or Hamburg, Germany, Pamplona, Spain. As a Market and Business Intelligence Analyst, you will work closely with our Business Intelligence Manager and will be responsible for analyzing, monitoring and consolidation of selected markets, industry and technology trends, competition, customer and product performance affecting our current and future service product portfolio.

In This Role, You Will

How to contribute to our vision

• Analyze, monitor, create & maintain relevant knowledge base of strategic relevance for Siemens Gamesa’s aftermarket business related to the external market environment, voice of customer, competitor moves & benchmarks and technology trends
• Own and proactively drive the creation & maintenance of studies, reports and dashboards enabling relevant business and investment settlement as well as strategic portfolio positioning
• Develop and maintain relevant key insights for our product portfolio development and ideation process on recurring and ad-hoc basis
• As a subject matter expert, you support the organization in developing and maintaining critical intelligence tools & systems for knowledge transfer, efficient business model and value calculations across the full product lifecycle
• The work involves a high degree of collaboration and knowledge sharing with our regional and global functions and comes with high levels of exposure as deliverables reach widely across the organization incl. executive management

What You Need To Make a Difference

Besides a passion for renewable energy and a sense for the importance to lead the change, we are also looking for:

• Master’s degree in economics, business or innovation management
• 3+ years working experience in an analytical or consulting role preferably in the energy industry and / or wind service business
• Proven ability to translate business problems into a market research approach, and to translate findings back into business answers
• Analytical thinking and well structured
• Profound Power BI / MS Office incl. sharepoint etc. skills for data analytics, business intelligence, monitoring & reporting
• Ownership attitude and performance driven
• Courage to question the business on existing practices, based on your experience and knowledge
• Strong written and verbal presentation and communication skills for stakeholder mgmt. and alignment
• Fluent in English
• International mindset / intercultural awareness
• Collaborative team player
