ii. Collect data and maintain fishing records and reporting.

iii. Provide advice to fisheries resource management groups.

iv. Verify registration of vessels and use of fishing gear and reporting;

v. Inspect fishing licenses based on location;

vi. Organize and supervise extension training in practical fishing;

vii. Conducting patrols in its area;

viii. Participate in Research activities; and

ix. To perform such other functions as may be assigned to him or her by his or her supervisor.

• Recruitment of Form IV or VI graduates who have received Fisheries training and diploma in Fisheries Diploma (NTA Level 5) from the Fisheries Education and Training Agency (FETA) or from any Government recognized college.
