| DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES | i) Examining samples of fish and fish products, water, mud, and environment; ii) Prepare materials and reagents (reagents) for sample analysis; iii) Storing samples to be tested or sent to the Referral Laboratory; iv) Keeping laboratory records. Maintaining laboratory equipment; v) Cleaning the laboratory and equipment used; vi) Disposal of sample residues and reagents used in accordance with the waste disposal guidelines; and vii) To perform such other functions as may be assigned to him by his supervisor.

| QUALIFICATION AND EXPERIENCE | Recruitment of Form IV or VI Diploma graduates (Diploma NTA - level 6) in one of the fields of Chemistry, Food Science and Technology ， Fisheries management and Technology, Fish Processing, Laboratory Technology ， Aquaculture, Aquatic Science from Fisheries Education and Training Agency (FETA) or similar qualifications from other Government recognized colleges. |
