Key Responsibilities:
Sales Targets and Growth:
- Implement effective sales strategies to promote apple trees and value-added products.
- Proactively identify opportunities for market expansion and revenue growth within the assigned territory.
Customer Relationship Management:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and partners.
- Provide personalised and professional customer service to address enquiries and concerns.
- Know what our target customer wants, and how to satisfy their needs.
Product Knowledge:
- After joining the company and with training, it is expected of you to demonstrate in-depth knowledge of apple trees, varieties, and value-added products.
- Conduct product presentations and demonstrations to showcase features and benefits.
Sales Targets:
- Achieve sales targets, both in terms of volume and revenue, within specified timelines.
Marketing
- Manage the companies SM accounts.
- Monitor market trends and competitor activities to identify opportunities for growth.
Collaboration:
- Collaborate with the production team to develop promotional materials and campaigns.
- Work closely with the logistics team to ensure timely delivery of products to customers.
Reporting:
- Prepare regular sales reports, including sales performance, market feedback, and customer trends.
- Provide feedback to the management team for continuous improvement.
Qualifications and Skills:
- University degree in Sales, Marketing, Agriculture, Business, or a related field.
- Proven experience in B2B sales, in the agricultural or FMCG industry is an advantage.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills in English and Swahili.
- High level of computer proficiency across the Microsoft Office suite and OneDrive, as well as Google Workspace.
- Goal-oriented with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets. You possess a strong “failure is not an option” mentality.
- You understand customers, and have a “feeling” for the market.
- Out-going, honest, straight-forward, and a happy mentality. We expect our staff to enjoy work.
Disclaimer:
- The applicant is requested to stay in the Ifunda area, or other area close-by to the farm.
- The first 6 months will be a probation period with a farming-based salary. Performance will be reviewed after 6 months.
- We have high expectations at ttt. The successful applicant will be mentored intensively, with the potential to develop over time to a management level.
