Job Description :

The Advanced Buyer involves playing a strategic role in procurement  management to ensure an efficient and effective flow of electronic components required.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify, evaluate, and select strategic suppliers of electronic components.
  • Develop and maintain robust relationships with key suppliers, ensuring collaboration and alignment with company objectives.
  • Monitor electronic components market trends continuously.
  • Assess product availability and pricing in the global market.
  • Negotiate contracts with suppliers, securing favorable conditions in terms of costs, delivery times, quality, and flexibility.
  • Implement contractual clauses to mitigate risks and ensure compliance.
  • Implement processes for continuous assessment and improvement of purchased product quality.
  • Work closely with engineering, production, and finance teams to align the supply chain with overall business objectives.
  • Constantly seek opportunities to improve supply chain efficiency and reduce costs.
  • Evaluate new technologies and practices to stay current in the industry.
  • Job Requirements:Education:

    A degree in Electronic Engineering is mandatory; however, a Vocational Education and Training (VET) qualification in electronics for passive and discrete electronics will be considered valid.Experience:

    A minimum of 3 to 5 years of experience in electronics is required, with experience in the automotive sector. Previous experience in purchasing is a plus.Technical and social skills:

  • Strong technical knowledge in electronics.
  • Effective communication and team collaboration skills.
  • Strong influencing and negotiation skills, especially in interactions with international and engineering teams.
  • Languages: Fluency in English and Spanish essential.Other requirements:

    Ability to travel as required for the role.
