Sales Engineer

Location: Mwanza, Tanzania

We are currently seeking a highly skilled and motivated Sales Engineer to join our team in Tanzania, specifically in the Mwanza area. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical abilities and a proven track record in sales, particularly within the mining, Sugar, aggregate and general industrial sector.

As a Sales Engineer, You Will Be Responsible For

• Acting as the primary point of contact for customers in the Mwanza area.
• Developing and maintaining strong customer relationships to drive sales growth and meet revenue targets.
• Providing technical expertise and support to customers, assisting them in selecting and applying the most suitable products for their needs.
• Conducting market research and analysis to identify opportunities for business expansion and growth within the region.
• Implementing effective sales strategies to maximize market penetration and increase market share.
• Collaborating with internal teams to ensure timely delivery of products and services, as well as resolving any customer issues or concerns.
• Keeping abreast of industry trends, developments, and competitors' activities to stay ahead of the curve.
• Managing assigned distributors as directed by management.
• Any other assigned tasks by management from time to time.

The successful candidate will possess the following qualifications and skills:

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field.
• 3-5 years Proven track record of successful sales experience, specifically within the key industries which include mining, aggregate, Sugar and general industrial in Tanzania.
• Strong technical aptitude and understanding of engineering principles, particularly in relation to mining, aggregate, Sugar and general industry equipment and machinery.
• Experience in managing distributors will be a plus.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and effectively communicate with customers at all levels.
• Self-motivated and results-oriented, with a demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Fluent in English and Swahili, both written and verbal.
• Must reside in Mwanza or be willing to relocate to Mwanza.
• Open to Tanzanian citizens only.
