On behalf of an Oil Major WRS are searching for a QC Welding NDE Supervisor for a site based role in East Africa. The role will be offered on a renewable contract and working on a rotational basis.

Successful Candidates Require

Hold a welding inspector or NDE inspector certification issued by a recognised international certification scheme such as CSWIP / AWS / PCN / BGAS or other Company agreed applicable qualification that support the welding assurance management and compliant execution delivery of the onshore Pipeline and related AGI, MST facilities and EITS infrastructure scopes.

• A minimum of 12-year welding inspection related working experience including at least 8 years' proven work experience as QA/QC welding and/or NDE supervisor or quality engineer in the oil and gas industry.
• Previous Quality assurance/engineering experience and demonstrated knowledge/use of Quality tools/methodologies.
• 8 years of QC experience working within a cross-functional oil & gas pipeline project team supporting; engineering, interface, contractor construction and commissioning readiness.
• Experienced in analysing welding & NDE metrics to report accurate KPI's and potential non-compliance trends and status back to the Quality Lead and project management team.
