On behalf of a oil major WRS are searching for a Coating and Painting Insulation Specialist to work on a capital pipeline project in East Africa. The role will be offered on a renewable contract and working on a rotational basis.

Successful Candidates Require

Degree or Technical Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or relevant qualification combined with extensive field experience in Coating Systems and application.

• A minimum of 10 years greenfield site construction experience in Oil & Gas or Hydrocarbon projects
• A minimum of 5 years as Coating Supervision.
• Certified NACE CIP or equivalent: BGAS-CSWIP, FROSIO.
• Competency within industry applications such as MS Office; Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio
• Knowledge of related industry Codes and Standards
• Demonstrate proficiency in the interpretation of engineering drawings, plans and specifications.
• Understanding of critical path and key milestones within the construction planning programs.
• A high focus on identifying and meeting the key project deliverables and objectives.
• Advanced written and spoken English.
• Effective leadership, communication, negotiation, problem-solving, planning and organisational skills for managing multiple tasks.
• Previous experience working with multicultural contractors' and reporting their performance.
• Autonomous, self-motivated, and flexible with the ability to adapt quickly to change or shifting priorities.
