Picture not being able to store your earnings securely, transmit or receive money over great distances, acquire credit, or participate in the digital economy. This isn’t a trivial inconvenience, it affects the livelihoods, education, health, and opportunity of those considered “unbanked”.

On the flip side, there are businesses (mobile network operators, technology platforms, eCommerce marketplaces) that have customers in their channels but lack the capability to offer them reliable access to financial services. Financial service providers (banks & insurance companies) who possess the capital and licenses, but are unable to reach the customers with no access to them.

The Role:

Join our dynamic team as a Partner Success Intern, where you'll play a crucial role in supporting the success of our embedded finance products. In this position, you will blend learning with action to assist in creating and implementing initiatives to improve our products - contributing to the future of financial accessibility in the region. This is a unique opportunity to learn, contribute, and make an impact, where your efforts will not only support business success but also contribute to meaningful economic development.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support in Strategic Planning: Assist in developing strategies that align with company goals and market potential under the guidance of senior management
  • Assist in Product Development: Help coordinate the implementation of product initiatives by working with relevant internal and external stakeholders. These initiatives include additional product features, communication tools, acquisition, and retention functionalities
  • Communication Support: Aid in optimizing communication strategies through participation in A/B testing & synthesizing customer feedback
  • Assist in Financial Analysis: Support financial modeling and risk assessment tasks to ensure product viability and profitability under supervision
  • Data Analysis & Customer Feedback: Help gather and analyze product & customer insights to support product refinement and inform new product development
  • Reports and Insights: Prepare and share reports with key stakeholders

  • An interest in developing and understanding long-term business strategies
  • You are an emerging leader, someone who is eager to learn and be inspired by teams focusing on innovation and continuous improvement

  • Agile in adapting to new challenges and eager to develop skills in solving complex problems
  • Basic understanding of financial concepts, with a keen interest in learning about profitability and risk metrics
  • Effective communication skills, with a willingness to learn how to convey ideas and strategies across various levels and departments
  • Transparent, accountable, and passionate about learning and contributing positively to the team environment
