About the job

At Chanzi, we use Black Soldier Fly Larvae to convert food waste into nutritious protein for animal feed. The company's goal is to produce a sustainable protein for animal feed which reduces the industry’s over-dependence on environmentally ruinous fish and soya bean meal.

The Role

You Will Be Responsible For

• Excellent with Google Sheets.
• Basic business sense to be able to understand Chanzi's business model.
• Defining, developing and maintaining reports to support decision making.
• Processing & interpreting data to get actionable insights.
• Working closely with business users to understand their data analysis needs/requirements.
• Identifying trends, doing follow-up analysis, and preparing visualizations.
• Understand and build the data architecture to enable easy data analyses.
• Help implement basic ERP systems.

Ideal Profile

• You possess a degree in Computer Science, Applied Mathematics, Engineering or related field.
• You have at least 1 year of relevant work experience, ideally within a Data Analyst or Database Administrator role.
• You have good presentation and communication skills and the ability to present your findings clearly and accessibly in the form of reports and presentations to senior colleagues.
• You possess strong analytical skills, high attention to detail and are comfortable dealing with numerical data
• You are a strong team player who can manage multiple stakeholders and take ownership
• You are highly goal-driven and work well in fast-paced environments
• Able to work at a Chanzi facility for 5 days a week
