Role Description

This is a contract role for a Crane Operator at JOINT VENTURE AC-EE (JV) located in Rufiji. As a Crane Operator, you will be responsible for operating various types of cranes to lift, move, and position heavy materials and equipment. Your day-to-day tasks will include operating controls to regulate speed and capacity of hoist, maneuvering cranes in response to hand signals or radio commands, inspecting and maintaining equipment, and ensuring safety procedures are followed.

Qualifications

• Valid certification or license for operating cranes
• Previous experience as a Crane Operator
• Knowledge of safety standards and procedures
• Physical stamina and ability to work in outdoor environments
• Ability to operate various types of cranes
• Good communication and listening skills
• Attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
