Description

We are seeking an experienced and driven Business Development Manager to spearhead Nziza Training Academy's entry into the Tanzanian market. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, building strategic partnerships, and driving revenue growth as we expand our cutting-edge technical training services into Tanzania.
Key Responsibilities:

  1. Market Research and Analysis:
  • Conduct comprehensive market research to understand the Tanzanian market dynamics, competitive landscape, and potential customer segments
  • Analyze industry trends, regulations, and customer needs to identify growth opportunities and tailor our services accordingly.
  1. Business Development and Lead Generation:
  • Develop and implement a strategic business development plan to establish Nziza Training Academy's presence in Tanzania
  • Identify and pursue potential clients, including companies, government entities, and organizations across various sectors
  • Generate new leads through networking, cold outreach, and by attending relevant industry events and trade shows.
  1. Relationship Building and Partnership Management:
  • Build and nurture strong relationships with key stakeholders, decision-makers, and industry influencers in Tanzania
  • Identify and pursue strategic partnerships with complementary organizations, educational institutions, and industry associations
  • Represent Nziza Training Academy at meetings, events, and conferences, effectively communicating our value proposition.
  1. Sales and Contract Negotiations:
  • Collaborate with the sales team to develop compelling proposals and presentations tailored to potential clients' needs
  • Negotiate and secure contracts, ensuring favorable terms and conditions for Nziza Training Academy
  • Manage and facilitate the onboarding process for new clients, ensuring a seamless transition.
  1. Market Expansion and Growth:
  • Develop and implement strategies to expand Nziza Training Academy's footprint in Tanzania, identifying new market segments and growth opportunities
  • Continuously monitor and analyze market trends, competitor activities, and client feedback to refine our offerings and strategies
  • Contribute to the development of new training programs and services to meet the evolving needs of the Tanzanian market.

Required profile for job ad : Business Development Manager

Qualifications:

  1. Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field. Master’s degree is more preferred
  2. Proven experience in business development, sales, or account management, preferably in the engineering or training industry
  3. Excellent knowledge of the Tanzanian market, business landscape, and cultural nuances
  4. Strong business acumen and ability to identify and capitalize on growth opportunities
  5. Exceptional interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills
  6. Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with clients, partners, and industry stakeholders
  7. Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and CRM software
  8. Willingness to travel extensively within Tanzania and potentially regionally
  9. Fluency in English and Swahili (or other relevant local languages in Tanzania).
