Body fabrications manger – Auto motive - 01

Works on safari custom vehicles to condition according to customer preferences which may include modifications to increase engine horsepower. Possibility of complete vehicle disassembly, overhaul of component parts, rust repairs, metal or other part fabrication, and refinishing work. May change roof line.
Responsibilities
1) Build safari vehicle bodies and fabricated subassemblies
2) Use hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment to remove existing parts and replace with new, used, or fabricated parts.
3) fabricate parts for mechanical or auto body.
4) rebuild or modify vehicle in part or whole; and modify engines to increase performance and/or horsepower
5) Read complaint sheets or job complaints of problems to determine repairs or modifications needed
6) Order materials to be used in repairing vehicles and equipment
7) Perform body repair work using necessary equipment i.e., sanders, spray guns, metal-cutting equipment, welding equipment and grinders
8) Make frame and body parts when necessary
9) Make tools and jigs when needed
10) Install vehicle parts and accessories
11) Assist mechanics in repairing vehicles when needed
12) Verifying dimensions and product specifications
13) Marking cutting lines on material
14) Ensuring that all parts are properly fitted, aligned, and screwed in
15) Ensuring that quality control standards are met
16) Maintaining a production schedule
17) Testing products for their functionality
18) Troubleshooting and testing vehicles to minimize problems or break downs
19) Reporting malfunctions and problem solving

Qualifications of Body fabrications manger – Auto motive
*Restoration, customization, fabrication: 5+ years; body work: 5+ years
Diploma certificate in fabrication
Good Experience for metal fabrication, type of steel, steel structure work and installation the steel structure
• Good Experience for welding, cutting and assembly for steel pipes and steel structure and any fabrication required
