Sales and Account Manager

In This Role You Will

  • Be accountable for sales goals associated with your assigned territory/accounts
  • Identify & develop new business opportunities while maintaining and increasing revenue and profitability.
  • Negotiate renewals and upsells with current customers contracts with support of relevant tools
  • Develop a relationship structure between the relevant levels of decision for both Amadeus and customer organizations.
  • Facilitate and foster this relationship to maximise information flow and customers satisfaction
  • Advocate customer voice into Amadeus to ensure the best service to customer.
  • Represents Amadeus at fairs and customer events.
  • Maintain accurate, up-to-date and relevant customer data in Amadeus tools / systems
  • Ensuring timely deployment of products and work closely with the delivery teams to ensure effective sales to delivery process.
  • Keep up to date with our product portfolio as well as of segment-relevant information (trends, strategy, competitors, pricing, etc.)
  • Provide on-site functional support and ad-hoc training on specific functionality and new products
  • Providing account management support and customer training for existing and new customers
  • Developing and maintaining strong relationships with key decision makers and influencers within the assigned accounts
  • Identifying new business opportunities and expanding Amadeus presence in the Tanzanian market
