**Position Overview:**

As a Sales Manager, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the growth and success of our sales team. The ideal candidate is a metrics-driven leader with a proven track record of managing high-performing sales teams, achieving revenue targets, and expanding market presence. You will be responsible for developing and executing strategic initiatives to drive sales growth, manage a team of sales professionals, and identify opportunities for market expansion.

**Key Responsibilities:**

1. **Team Leadership:**

- Recruit, train, and lead a high-performing sales team.

- Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.

- Set clear performance expectations and provide ongoing coaching and feedback.

2. **Strategic Planning:**

- Develop and implement strategic plans to drive sales growth and expand the company's geographical reach.

- Analyse market trends, customer needs, and competitor activities to identify opportunities for business development.

3. **Sales Performance Management:**

- Establish and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure and improve sales team effectiveness.

- Implement and refine sales processes to optimise efficiency and productivity.

- Ensure the team consistently meets or exceeds sales targets.

4. **Market Expansion:**

- Identify and evaluate new market opportunities for expansion.

- Develop and execute plans to enter new geographical territories and increase market share.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless market entry and expansion.

5. **Relationship Building:**

- Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key clients, partners, and stakeholders.

- Represent the company at industry events and conferences to enhance brand visibility.

**Qualifications:**

- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field (MBA is a plus).

- Proven experience as a successful Sales Manager in a metrics-driven environment.

- Strong leadership and team management skills.

- Demonstrated ability to drive sales growth and exceed targets.

- Excellent strategic thinking, planning, and execution capabilities.

- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.

- Willingness to travel as needed for business development activities.
