HEAD OF OPERATIONS
Reporting channel; Reports to Managing Director
Duties and responsibilities
- Coordinate with sales agents to establish country office for expansion and increase coverage.
- Responsible for overseeing smooth running of company’s operations
- Overseeing the recruitment and hiring of high performing sales operation team members in their respective branches
- Lead and motivate team members to advance employee’s sense of ownership and commitment and enable them achieve targets
- Identify expansion opportunities for the business across Tanzania and develop execution plan for successful expansion
- Always maintain view of financial position to ensure provision of adequate cash flow for day-to-day working and in compliance with statutory requirements and reporting
- Managing the day-to-day operational activities of the business and ensuring all teams are aligning with the operational policies of the company
- Managing and ensuring all teams are meeting their daily, weekly, monthly and yearly targets.
- Promotes and lead in attaining the company’s mission and vision.
- Perform any other duty as may be assigned by immediate supervisor.
Required profile for job ad : Head of OperationsAcademic Qualifications and Experience
- Over 3 years of management work experience in companies
- At least a Bachelor’s Degree
- Highly skilled in designing and supervising, a motivator with strong people management capabilities
- Highly organized self-starter with grit, determination, and passion for hard work
- A fast and willing learner who is adaptable to a unique real estate and land services model.
- Capacity to work for continuous days of long hours for both general management and fieldwork.
- Resilient and remains calm and deliberate under conditions of stress
- Strong analytical background
- Well-networked across a diverse range of people and groups in Tanzania
- Strong Communication and People Management, interpersonal and influencing skills to build strong business relationships, foster stakeholder engagement, create new partnerships and drive a culture of team-oriented collaboration.
