Job Title: General Manager
Location: Dar es Salaam
About the Role: Our client is looking for a General Manager to oversee operations in Dar es Salaam. The successful candidate will handle various responsibilities essential to the role.
Key Responsibilities:

1. Ensure preparation of monthly accounts by the 10th of the following month, with assistance from the accountant.
2. Market the company's products in Tanzania, Malawi, and Zambia.
3. Ensure compliance with Tanzania's tax and statutory obligations.
4. Manage all staff members.
5. Explore and establish strategies to expand the company's market share.
6. Gain a thorough understanding of the company's products and services.
7. Enhance and strengthen financial controls.
8. Implement effective cash flow management.
9. Oversee day-to-day revenue and expenditure management.
10. Prepare and monitor the budget.
11. Provide periodic financial reports.

Requirements

• Willingness to relocate to Dar es Salaam.
• Has worked in a plant/industry and has rubber experience.
• Our client will facilitate work permits and necessary paperwork for working in Tanzania.
• Mechanical knowledge is an added advantage.
