1.0 Job Purpose:
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Business Manager to join our re-commerce start-up based in Kenya. The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in driving the growth and success of our business across Tanzania/Uganda. The Business Manager will be responsible for overseeing various aspects of our operations, including partner management, sales, team leadership, representation of the company, and overall business performance.

● Daily Sales Reportings
● Daily Buyback Reporting
● Returns and Warranty Reporting
● Stock Reporting
● Marketing Campaign Reporting
● P&L Reporting

3.0 Key Relationships:
3.1 Key Internal Relationships:
• Retail managers
• Finance team
• RFO Technical team
• Country manager

3.2 Key External Relationships:
● Badili Partners
● Vendors & suppliers. (Esp those related to the supply chain)

Key Responsibilities:
Partner Management:
● Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key partners, suppliers, and stakeholders.
● Identify and onboard new strategic partners to expand the business network.
● Collaborate with partners to optimize processes and enhance mutual business opportunities.

Sales Numbers:
● Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve revenue targets.
● Analyze market trends, identify growth opportunities, and drive sales initiatives.
● Monitor and evaluate sales performance, implementing corrective actions as needed.

Team Management:
● Lead, motivate, and mentor a high-performing team to achieve collective goals.
● Foster a positive and collaborative work environment.
● Provide ongoing training and development opportunities for team members.

Representation of the Company:
● Act as the face of the company within the country of operations.
● Attend industry events, conferences, and networking functions to enhance the company's visibility.
● Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders in the region.

P&L Responsibility:
● Take ownership of the Profit & Loss (P&L) for the business unit.
● Implement cost-effective measures and strategies to optimize financial performance.
● Analyze financial reports and provide insights for strategic decision-making.

Operations:
● Oversee day-to-day operations to ensure efficiency and adherence to quality standards.
● Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline processes and improve overall operational effectiveness.
● Implement and enforce company policies and procedures.
